An 1890 JH Taylor-designed course perched above the Devon coast, with sea views across Lyme Bay and a clubhouse to match. We built a photography-led site that showcases the beauty of every hole and every corner of the club.
The Brief
Sidmouth Golf Club sits on some of the most dramatic clifftop terrain in Devon – a course designed by five-time Open Champion JH Taylor that has been welcoming members since 1890. The club wanted a website that did justice to that heritage and setting: rich with photography, easy to navigate for visitors and members alike, and capable of showcasing the course hole by hole.
What We Built
We built a photography-led Next.js site with a headless CMS that puts imagery front and centre. An interactive course guide lets visitors explore each of the eighteen holes, while a clean membership section gives prospective members everything they need to take the next step. The CMS gives the club team full control over news, events, and content updates without needing to touch the codebase. Accessibility was a priority throughout the build, with the site meeting WCAG standards to ensure it works for every visitor.
